Two women brought together by a coincidence went in for the Lithuanian textiles and started to collect historical information, study weaving techniques. In the very beginning it was a common passion and a hobby, which was attracting more and more over the time. The new company “Audimo manufaktūra” was established in 2006 and already had a strong background based on the great experiences and study.

Over all these years we gathered around many professionals and woven design enthusiasts. Many people come to study weaving handicraft in our studio and then stay to work with us. All these people are the true strength and our great treasure.

Hand-weaving is different from machine weaving, therefore the freedom for creative expression is highly valued. Without striving to imitate machine-made products “Audimo manufaktūra” does what only human beings can do.

NYTYS is what we value the most: the interaction between person and nature itself, with the traditions and ecology. NYTYS is the essential part of weaving-looms, so-called loom‘s “computer” on which depends the pattern of the fabric and its complexity.

All NYTYS’ products are hand-woven, only natural threads are used, in that way the high quality is obtained and sustained.

The ancient weaving techniques are combined with the modern attitude, and despite of the archaic mode of production, the innovative ideas are applied in order to create the product attractive to the contemporary customer.

In year 2018 NYTYS has joined a HORECA collaborative project by Lithuanian Cluster: We Are Baltic. We have developed a line of premium gift sets, as well as unique hand-woven interior elements.
